Abstract

This research paper presents an in-depth exploration of Punjabi classical poetry, focusing particularly on its technical and literary qualities. The study offers a comprehensive analysis of the rich tradition of Punjabi Adab (literature), examining the stylistic and thematic elements that define its classical poetic forms. Special attention is given to the works of prominent classical Punjabi poets, whose writings reflect a deep engagement with the Islamic worldview and cultural ethos. Through a critical examination of their poetry, the research highlights how Islamic values, spiritual themes, and moral teachings are intricately woven into the fabric of Punjabi literary expression.
